Returning after twenty years, this edition of the Nike Air Ghost Racer Shoes have cool grey coloured mesh uppers with synthetic leather and fabric cut out overlays coloured in tones of wolf and dark grey. Designed with a focus on form and accentuated details, the variety of layered materials results in an intricate look with small black Swoosh ticks on either side of the foot and curved perforated shapes alongside. Cool grey coloured laces loop through a suede border on either side of the tongue which uses the same mesh and suede with a Swoosh tick across the top. On the back of the heel a circular synthetic overlay provides the background for an embroidered Swoosh tick and denser mesh sits above before continuing throughout the inside. A Zoom Air unit has been added within the heel for a cushioned feel whilst an original midfoot wrap provides support and stability. The sculpted outsole adds further interest to the design and a stylised traction pattern runs underfoot with a circular pivot point.

Having returned in its original colourway during the summer of 2019, the first time since being introduced in the 1990’s as a sturdy running shoe, the Nike Ghost Racer Shoes have been updated with contemporary features and fabrics whilst attention has been paid to accurately portray original lines to achieve its sculpted look.
